Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct. 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of Aleksandar Gogev. By creating an account you confirm you have read and accepted them.
In short
- Do not abuse the site, its features or its members.
- Do not publish inappropriate, offensive or illegal content.
- We do not endorse or support anything a member posts, and we are not responsible for what a member does.
- We can suspend or close an account, and we do not have to warn you first.
The sections below set out the detail, and they form part of these terms.
1. Who we are
Services Costa Blanca is a marketplace. We provide the software that connects people in the Costa Blanca who need work done with local tradespeople who can do it.
We are not a party to any contract between a customer and a tradesperson. The agreement for the work itself is between those two, not with us. We provide the platform, the introductions and the messaging; the work, its price and its quality are agreed directly between the two parties.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password private.
- One person may hold one account. Creating extra accounts to review or rate each other is not allowed.
3. Your content
Job adverts, photographs, profiles, messages and reviews that you publish remain yours. By posting them you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize and display them on this site for as long as your account is open. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
You confirm that anything you post is yours to post: you have the right to the photographs, you are not copying an advert from another site, and you are not posting anything unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory.
Photographs and your address. Photographs you upload have their metadata removed, including GPS coordinates, so the location of your property is not published. Do not write your full address into the advert text itself — we cannot remove that for you.
4. Reviews
You may review a tradesperson you have actually worked with. Reviews must be about the work and must not contain insults, accusations of criminality, or personal details about a third party. We may remove a review that breaks these rules, and repeated abuse of the review system is grounds for closing an account.
5. Contact details stay private
Your email address and phone number are never shown on a public page. They are only revealed to another member when you approve a contact request from them. Until then the person can message you through the site without seeing how to contact you directly.
6. Acceptable use: do not abuse the platform
This platform exists so that people in the Costa Blanca can find each other and get work done. It does not exist to be used in ways that damage the site, its members, or the public. You must not:
- Abuse, attack, probe, overload, scrape or bulk-download the site, send automated or bulk requests, or try to disrupt, degrade or breach its security.
- Use the site for spam, for unwanted commercial messages, or to distribute malware, phishing pages or harmful code.
- Defraud, deceive or mislead anybody — including posting adverts, qualifications, reviews or photographs that are not genuine, or that misrepresent who you are or what you can do.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, expose the private information of, or impersonate any person, business or organisation.
- Abuse the contact-request system, the review system or any other feature, in order to pressure, extort or unfairly advantage yourself.
- Create or operate more than one account, use somebody else's account, or hide behind a false identity.
- Evade the bans, rate limits and other security measures that protect the site and the people who use it.
- Do anything that a reasonable person would consider a misuse of a public marketplace, even if it is not listed above.
Suspected abuse of this kind is detected and logged automatically, and it can lead to an immediate ban without any warning. See section 10.
7. Inappropriate content: what you must not publish
The site is open to everyone, so what is published on it has to be suitable for a general public audience. You must not publish or upload:
- Sexual, explicit or pornographic content, or anything that sexualises a real person, including a photograph of a person who has not agreed to it.
- Graphic violence, gore, self-harm content, or anything that glorifies, encourages or instructs anybody in any of those things.
- Content that is hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or that otherwise demeans people because of who they are.
- Content that advertises, promotes or instructs anybody in anything illegal, or whose main purpose is to sell or distribute illegal goods or services.
- Scam, phishing or fraudulent adverts — including adverts for work, tools or services that do not exist, or that are not what they claim to be.
- Photographs, adverts, messages or reviews that you copied from somebody else, or that infringe anybody's copyright, trade mark or other right.
- Another person's personal data — a home address, a phone number, an identity document, or a photograph of somebody who has not agreed to it — unless you have their clear permission.
- Content that is insulting or degrading towards another member, or that incites other people to act against somebody.
Content that breaks this section may be removed without warning, and may lead to your account being suspended or closed. We may also remove content before any warning is given where it is unlawful, where it puts a member's safety at risk, or where a court or the police ask us to.
8. We do not endorse or support what is posted
We are a neutral meeting place. We provide the software, the hosting and the introductions. We do not choose who joins, we do not select which adverts you see, and we do not take part in the agreement for the work itself.
Nothing published on this platform is a recommendation, an endorsement, a sponsorship or an approval by us. An advert, photograph, profile, message or review belongs to the member who wrote it, and the fact that we host it does not mean we agree with it, support it, have checked it, or would take its side in a dispute.
We do not support or condone any illegal, abusive, discriminatory or dishonest activity carried out by a member, and we will not act to protect it. If you ask us to keep content up that breaks section 6 or section 7, or you ask us to help another member to do something improper, we will remove the content and we may suspend or close the account.
We act as an intermediary in the adverts and messages published on this site. We do not host that content as our own, and we are not a party to any contract between members. We remove or block content, and suspend or close accounts, where the law requires it, where we become aware that content is unlawful, or where a member complains and the complaint appears to be justified.
We are not the employer, the contractor or the agent of any member. We do not vet, qualify, insure or guarantee anybody's work, and we do not endorse anybody's conduct.
9. Payments
The site is free to use and we do not take a commission, handle money, or escrow payment for work. Any payment is made directly between the customer and the tradesperson, on whatever terms they agreed. We are not a payment institution and cannot refund, reverse or guarantee any payment.
10. Suspension, banning and closing
You may delete your account at any time from your privacy settings.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. That includes, without limitation: publishing content that breaks section 7; abusing the site, its features or its members, as described in section 6; defrauding, defaming or harassing another member; using the site to carry out anything unlawful; or operating more than one account or a false identity.
Where the conduct is serious — for example where it is unlawful, where it puts a member's safety at risk, or where it is a deliberate attack on the site — we suspend or close the account immediately and without warning. We do not have to give a warning first, and we do not have to tell you in advance.
Where we close an account we explain why, unless telling you would be unlawful or would compromise another member or our security.
Where we close an account we keep the reviews you wrote in anonymised form, because other members rely on them. The rest of your personal data is handled under our privacy policy, including your right to erasure.
A ban is applied to an internet address as well as to an account, so it can affect you on a shared connection. If you believe a ban was applied in error, contact us and we will review it.
Suspension and closure are not a form of refund. The site is free, so there is nothing to refund, and we will not compensate you for business you lost or for work you turned down.
11. No warranty
This site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any tradesperson is suitably qualified, insured or vetted. Check credentials yourself before engaging anyone for work on your property.
We do not check the accuracy of what members publish, and we do not promise that content on the site is accurate, lawful, appropriate or of good quality.
12. Liability
We are not responsible for the content members publish, for any act or omission by a member, or for the contract between a customer and a tradesperson. Our response to improper conduct is set out in section 10: we remove the content and we close the account, but we do not take on responsibility for what that member did.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially we will tell you and ask you to accept the new version, and we will record the date you accepted it and the version you accepted.
14. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and the courts of Alicante/Alicante have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country. You may also complain to the AEPD about how we handle your personal data.
